  • I'm a college student going to bed early is not an option. And I love brunch.

  • It's been about two weeks since the last time I wrote. Sorry about that. I've been eating the light fat free yogurt in the morning. At work, I'm drinking coffee with a lot of fat free milk added to it. Eating something in the morning has helped me lose weight. I've lost 5 pounds so far.

  • If I didn't have to work for a living, I would stay up until 2 am and get up at 11am--I'm definitely not a morning person!! For years I have skipped breakfast because the thought of food at 6:30 am makes me a little sick to my stomach, but I'm trying to get healthier, so I'd like to try. Because I like to stay up late, I try to sleep in as long as possible before I have to get ready for work, so I really need ideas for food on the run. A bowl of cereal just takes too long unless it's the weekend. I really like the idea that jppiehl had of the healthy food baggies. (and by the way, I am soooo jealous!) :0)

  • How do you get three meals a day in when you are working the 2nd shift and don't get home untill 3-4 am? I am having a hard time with getting regular eating habits on this shift.

  • I am the type that is never thirsty or hungry. I have to force myself to eat. I am not anorexic or anything I am just never hungry. When and if I am hungry or want to eat food to “make me feel better” I have no problem eating at all. Breakfast is the hardest. I started this week with a new approach by putting in a large zip lock bag, labeled for each day of the week, small snack size bags filled with healthy snacks that I can eat through out the day. The goal is to eat everything in the bag through out the whole work day (Breakfast, snack, lunch, snack). Each bag for the day includes: 1 fat free pop tart, To-Go dole peach cubes, no sugar added whole grain oatmeal, To-Go Motts no sugar added plus extra fiber applesauce, Special K 90 Cal. cereal bar, organic real fruit strip, granola mix with nuts, dried fruit, and M&M’s, 1 Reese’s peanut butter cup. I make a drink from water, Benefiber citrus punch and Vitamin C raspberry drink mix. Let me know if you have more ideas or tricks.
